10 Mini Window Display Challenge Intro

10 Mini Window Display challenge

There was a time when I thought I have ADHD, I still don’t know. Too many things interest me, and I just want to learn everything. I’ve tried every hobby you can imagine, and I still have everything in my wardrobe ready to pick up again. The idea of window display has been in my mind for many, many years.

Since I finished school as a visual art teacher and graphic artist, I couldn’t commit to one thing.

This would be the ideal job: no two days are the same, every window is a challenge. I can experiment and learn new techniques, and I don’t have to commit to just one thing.

Recently I saw some videos on TikTok about Anthropologie window displays. It felt like the perfect job, but I’m in Australia. I started looking for a visual merchandiser jobs, but without any studies, it feels almost impossible to apply. I mean, I can apply, but who’s gonna to hire me?

One day, while I was doomscrolling on TikTok, I saw an art series from @Make with Brandon , and I knew, I had to do something like that. Originally, I was thinking of painting, but it felt too limited.

Then last week, I was talking with my friend who does calligraphy. Her name is @Bythescribe follow her, by the way, and she mentioned window decorations.

That reminded me how much I’ve loved the idea of doing window displays for so long.

That conversation and the art series came together, and here I am: building the frame for the ā€œ10 mini window display challengeā€

Here is the Intro to my series!
